It is an amazing plane. If ever you hear of the blue angels coming to town, don't miss their Herc. It has rocket assist for takeoff.

"Fat Albert Airways" the USMC Herc attached to the Blue Angels shows has flown or will soon fly it's last mission. The reason the supply of JATO's that it uses are just about done. These have not been used by the US miltary for quite some time now and there have been none produced for an equally long time.
